Westfield, IN – Today Mayor Andy Cook, Indiana Secretary of Commerce Jim Schellinger and Japanese Consulate General Naoki Ito joined leaders of Bastian Solutions and Toyota Advanced Logistics for a grand opening of the company’s new advanced manufacturing facility in Westfield.
“This is a great day for the City of Westfield,” said Mayor Andy Cook. “With this facility coming on line, we are telling the world that Westfield is a place that is open for international development. We can supply and house a diverse workforce here and have the land to build a variety of facilities.”
The 90,000 square-foot facility is located along US-31 in Westfield’s NorthPoint Industrial Park. Bastian Solutions, a global systems integrator and consulting firm, provides material handling and robotic automation for large scale product distribution. It is owned by Toyota Advanced Logistics, a subsidiary of Japan-based Toyota Industries Corporation.
